고

The connective ending -고  is used with an action verb to indicate the order of the action. Someone does something first and then does another thing.

만나다+고-->만나고

읽다+고-->읽고

친구를 만나고 시장에 가요.

책을 읽고 텔레비전을 봐요.

사진을 찍고 산책을 해요.

가: 지금 무엇을 해요?

나: 커피를 마시고 숙제를 해요.

가: 저녁에 무엇을 해요?

나: 저녁을 먹고 영화를 봐요.
